Often we fail to notice people because they do their utmost to remain in the shadows or the fringes of our society. Looking on rather than participating in what’s going on around them. However, just because they are quiet and keep themselves to themselves doesn’t mean that their minds aren’t working. In fact, they are probably doing a lot more thinking than the rest of us who are too busy with our interests and perhaps making our opinions known to anybody who will listen whether they want to or not. They take the time to really think and ponder so that, when they do have something to say, it may be a new innovative idea, the solution to an ongoing problem, or a profound statement. Never underestimate the quiet people in our midst but rather pay attention when they do have something to share with the rest of us, we might be pleasantly surprised.
