Allow yourself to hope, to believe, and to trust again. Don’t let a few bad memories stop you from having a good life.” (Mandy Hale)

Allowing a bad relationship, friendship, or work situation, to impact on us so much that it colours our perception of these in our future does us no favours. Better to look on it as a learning curve and realise we’ve learned a valuable lesson and that hopefully we won’t make the same mistake again in the future. It serves us better to have a positive, optimistic outlook rather than being negative and therefore, through our own negativity, prevent ourselves from living fully. Nobody knows what the future will bring but isn’t it to our advantage to welcome whatever comes our way and leave past negative experiences where they belong in the past?
